AMC’s “The Killing” continues to haunt us on Sunday nights. Over the course of the twelve weeks of the show the question that will be on everybody’s mind is of course “who killed Rosie Larsen?” Which means it’s time for Television Oddsmakers, your guide to the ever changing odds on who we think is responsible for the death of Rosie Larsen.
Stephen Holder – 50:1 – As we’ve figured out by now, Holder does it his own way. And in this case, his own way means calling up our favorite little escort service to get a chance to talk to Celine about our suspect “Orpheus.” It seems like Celine in her most cryptic way decides to finger dear Darren as the man who scared the living bejeezus out of her talking about death. Rosie dress rehearsal or Darren just moping around, sad about his wife?
Darren Richmond – 13:1 – While Holder is in the midst of his investigation Linden decides to pay Darren a visit, to talk about his association with bad boy Tom Drexler, another frequent customer of our minor employing escort service. However, after Darren walks out to take a call, his computer starts to beep filling up with emails from Linden taunting the unknown killer that she is on to them. Is Darren the killer? Seems to be the odds on favorite at the moment. But would he be stupid enough to keep that email going? Is someone trying to set him up? Also Mayor Adams hand delivers Gwen a nice photo album of Darren and Rosie together…perhaps on the night of the murder?
Gwen Eaton and Jamie Wright – 13:1 – If so look no further than Jamie. Do I have any evidence? Nope. However as the emails started rolling into Darren’s laptop, I could help but note that the only other unread email with a nice green checkmark on it was from Jamie? Foreshadowing? Only one more week until we find out.
Anybody else? Well I guess Tom Drexler shouldn’t be ruled out a subject and I guess Terry could still be involved, but at this point anybody else is a stretch.
Next week: The killer is revealed…
