What to Watch: Sons of Perdition

Now that Oprah’s whirlwind goodbye tour is now complete and she get’s to take the summer off before pitching her tent at her own network, OWN, there is a reason to tune into the network before the Queen of Talk shows up.  After making the festival circuit last year the documentary, Sons of Perdition, makes its mass market debut at 9 ET tonight.  Sons of Perdition is powerful as it documents three young men who have run away from the strict and abusive lifestyle in “the Crick” (the nickname for the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints compound) and quickly discover how ill-equipped they are to survive.  Sons of Perdition is worth your two hour investment.
